Apparently Japanese salary men aren't eating sushi off naked ladies' bodies any more. It's a bit passé. And smutty and completely reeks of bad movies a la Showdown in Little Tokyo.
Judging by the amount of salary men at Horoki the other evening, it seems several pots of heart-warming sake, succulent wasabi scotch fillet, and lightly seared swordfish sashimi will suffice; gobbled up off plates, not bodies, in this hotel lobby-esque den of deliciousness, complete with Ray Charles backing tape. Definitely more hygienic than the naked sushi carry-on - Horoki is one of the few drink/eateries that still provide hot towels pre-chow. Oh, and be sure to stick around for the complimentary dessert. A sweet, tapioca-based, "there's a party inmy mouth and every salary man's invited" sensation.
