Oh, the ancients were a clever people. They discovered early on that the ingestion of certain plants and berries could mess you up pretty good, and make you think you saw God. They were very wise, the ancients, very, very wise, and when I speak of ‘the ancients' of course I mean: The Aztecs.
My noteworthy friend Mr. Lou Diamond Phillips is of Aztecan extraction, or so he says, but unlike his forefathers with their plant and berry concoctions, he relies heavily on rum. In fact we both do. That's not to say we don't enjoy the plants and berries, of course we do! But we like to kick off our intense religious episodes with a little rum.
Which rum you ask? Why Captain Morgan's Original Spiced Rum of course! The only rum there is! People call shit on the Captain for his corny advertising campaigns and fruity attire, but at the end of the day his rum is the most palatable and easily the most effective. When liberally imbibed, Morgan's can give rise to untold visions and epiphanies! Then again, you'll probably just end up pushing each other around in shopping trolleys and crying.
